Tribute paid to David Gold after West Ham co-owner died of ‘short illness’ at age 86


Paying tribute to his longtime business partner, Sullivan said:

“Of all our joint ventures, none has given us more pride and happiness than the day we took ownership of our club, West Ham United, in January 2010. , Boleyn has a longstanding connection to the Hammers, having grown up on the other side of the ground, where he represented the club at junior level at Greenstreet.He always wanted what was best for West Ham United. His death is a great loss for all of us.”
