State tennis tournaments begin Monday

Highschool tennis is scheduled for Monday as state tournaments get underway round Arkansas.

Mountain Dwelling may have 4 doubles groups competing within the Class 5A State Match at Lakeside Excessive Faculty in Sizzling Springs. On the boys’ aspect, Jake McGehee and Clayton Jones will meet Aiden Smith and Taylor McCoy of Texarkana, and Jacob Czanstkowski and Dodge Harris will face Griffin Gulley and William Ivy of Lakeside. On the ladies’ bracket, Macie Heide and Sarah Godfrey will tackle Samantha Holt and Taylor Brossett of West Memphis, and Micaela McLean and Cambelle Lance will play Lauren Guadamuz and Peyton Mullins of Jonesboro.

Six space athletes will compete within the Class 3A State Match hosted by Episcopal Collegiate at Burns Park in North Little Rock. In boys’ motion, Mountain View’s Will Fowlkes will probably be paired with John Canaan Taylor of Jessieville within the singles division, and Asher Fultz and Elijah Royce of Bergman will participate within the doubles bracket in opposition to Shawn Hudson Seegraves and Brandon Palmer of Piggott. Bergman can even be represented on the ladies’ aspect as Ruby Trammell meets Central Arkansas Christian’s Reagan Rabb within the singles bracket, and Maddi Holt and Kessa Willis will face Bismarck’s Audrey Kizziar and Alivia Gordon in doubles competitors.

Burns Park can even be the location of the Class 4A State Match with Pulaski Academy designated because the host college, and Harrison may have a doubles staff competing on the ladies’ aspect. Elise Bell and Camryn Casey will tackle Angela Coriarty and Paige Davis.
