MANILA — Hours after his 9-ball stint ended within the quarterfinals, Dennis Orcollo made positive his 2019 Southeast Asian Video games stint was once finishing with a medal.
The medal he were given was once gold.
Orcollo outlasted Vietnam’s The Kien Do in a marathon 10-ball singles ultimate Monday on the Manila Lodge Tent, pulling off a dramatic 9-Eight victory.
In a back-and-forth that lasted for nearly 3 hours, Orcollo slowly wiped clean up rack 15 to take a the most important 8-7 lead.
Then again, Do took the win again relatively briefly, forcing a decider.
In rack 17, Orcollo and Do engaged in an early safetly struggle but if the Filipino in the end were given a positive format, it was once everywhere.
Orcollo set free a primal scream prior to sinking the closing 10-ball, securing his gold medal in males’s 10-ball. It was once the 3rd gold medal for the Philippine in Billiards on this SEA Video games.
