Sarawut captures stage 4, sets eyes on the big prize

Nationwide staff bike owner Sarawut Sirironnachai received the fourth stage of the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Cup Tour of Thailand on Friday.

The 122.85km fourth stage began in Chumphon and completed in Ranong and featured moutainous routes.

Thailand Continental Biking Staff rider Sarawut, bike owner Valentin Midey of France, and Bike Support racer Nikodemus Holler from Germany have been on the entrance of the peloton within the nation’s premier biking occasion.

Sarawut, who received the third stage, crossed the end line first in 3:30.39 hours, forward of second-placed Midey and Holler.

Holler retained the pink jersey for the general chief in a complete time of 13:39.29 forward of Sarawut (13:40.0).

Sarawut, who received three gold medals on the 2019 SEA Video games, has two phases left to beat Holler and win the title.

“My coaches had an excellent plan for me as we speak. I’ve received two phases in a row due to our teamwork. I’m more than happy with my peformance up to now,” stated Sarawut who additionally received the third stage.

“There are two phases left and I’ll attempt to win the pink jersey.”

Saturday’s fifth stage begins at 9am on the Ranong Provincial Administrative Organisation workplace and finishes in Surat Thani with a complete distance of 219.60km.

The Tour of Thailand 2020, which started in Samut Songkhram on Tuesday, ends in Surat Thani on Sunday.

The general winner will obtain the trophy graciously donated by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
