SALISBURY — The forty fifth Salisbury Civitan Golf Traditional was held on Friday on the Nation Membership of Salisbury.

Twenty-eight four-man groups competed with a greatest ball Captain’s Alternative format.

The three flights have been based mostly on handicap.

The State Farm Insurance coverage staff received the First Flight with a 54.

That staff consisted of Greg Edds and three Livingstone golfers from Uganda — Titus Okwong, Daniel Baguma and Ronald Otile.

Capturing 56 to win the Second Flight was the  Healthcare Administration Consultants staff of Stan Jordan, Todd Dagenhart, Charles Whaley and Jay Stevens.

The Third Flight was received by the Yang Household Dentistry staff of Steve Yang, John Yang, Alex Yang and Scott Maddox. They shot 60.

Baguma received longest drive on No. 3 and No. 12.

Chris Corchiani Jr. and Andy Jeter tied for closest to the pin on No. 6. David Schumacher received closest to the pin on No. 14.

The match is a serious annual fundraiser for the Civitan Membership of Salisbury.

Proceeds go to native Civitan causes, together with scholarships for highschool and school college students, Particular Olympics, Saving Grace Farms, Rowan Serving to Ministries, Nazareth Youngsters’s House, Scouting BSA and the Civitan Worldwide Analysis Middle in Birmingham, Ala.
