Memphis soccer schedule reshuffled for last three convention video games
MEMPHIS — The American Athletic Convention has introduced Memphis at Navy has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 28, at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
Memphis’ recreation at Tulane scheduled for Nov. 28 has been moved to Dec. 5, and the Tigers’ matchup with Houston on the Liberty Bowl will now be performed Dec. 12, per week later than most not too long ago scheduled.
The Tigers’ journey to Navy was initially scheduled for Nov. 14 and was postponed as a consequence of constructive COVID-19 circumstances throughout the Navy program. Memphis’ matchup with Houston was initially scheduled for Sept. 19 earlier than being postponed after Memphis paused soccer actions because of COVID-19 circumstances.
“We’re excited to have the ability to add a fantastic opponent just like the Naval Academy again on our schedule,” mentioned Memphis head coach Ryan Silverfield. “We won’t wait to get again up there to Annapolis. Clearly, with all of the adjustments in school soccer this 12 months, we recognize the convention working with us to have the ability to play the remainder of our schedule. We’ll end up our regular-season schedule the correct means and see the place the chips could fall.”
Memphis (4-2, 3-2 AAC) is at house for an 11 a.m. kickoff in opposition to Stephen F. Austin this Saturday on ESPN+. The Tigers are 4-0 at house this season. Single-game tickets for the SFA and Houston video games could be bought at www.gotigersgotix.com or by calling 901.678.2331.
