Japanese Florida Males’s Golf Workforce Wins Dan York Memorial Match, Fires 282 in Closing Spherical

(EFSC picture)BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Japanese Florida State School males’s golf crew gained the Dan York Memorial Match Tuesday at Cross Creek Golf Course in Cullman, Alabama.

It’s the first time a Titans crew has gained an occasion at Cross Creek Golf Course underneath head coach Jamie Howell.
“Successful the Dan York Memorial Match is an honor as coach York was a private pal and mentor to me,” Japanese Florida State School males’s golf coach Jamie Howell stated.
“It was a tricky day and the crew hung in there. It’s a great way for the crew to start what might be a aggressive season.”
Japanese Florida State School shot a 282 within the ultimate spherical and beat the sector by eight strokes, ending the three rounds with an 836. Central Alabama CC completed second, taking pictures a 291 within the ultimate spherical.
Sophomore John Houchin completed second total within the event after a final-round 73. Houchin shot a 207 within the event and completed two strokes behind medalist Ryley Heath of Calhoun Neighborhood School.
Teammate Matt Gauntlett tied for third place with a 68 within the ultimate spherical and completed with a 208 within the event. Brandon Boncore was tied for fifth with a 73 on Tuesday and shot 211 for the event.
Drew Lanier shot a 68 to complete tied for eighth and Ryan McMillan shot 227 for the event.
Japanese Florida State School will play on the Dalton State Fall Invitational in Innisbrook, Florida on Sept. 27-28.
