M15 Monastir TUN – Thiago Agustin Tirante captures his maiden title

Thiago Agustin Tirante is the winner of this week’s Magic Excursions event hosted by the Lodge Skanes Household.

The 19-year-old Argentinian, who clinched the trophy on the Beneath-18-Metropolia Orange Bowl Worldwide Championships in 2019, battled previous Slovenian wildcard entry Tomas Lipovsek Puches within the semi-finals in straight units.

Polish Wojciech Marek made the final step to the ultimate by beating Daniil Glinka from Estonia within the stage of the final 4 in straight units.

La Plata-born Tirante outpointed his opponent 108-94 to assert a 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 victory within the title match. The ultimate lasted two hours and 53 minutes. The previous World No. 1 within the Juniors Rating has lifted his first singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Sharm El Sheikh EGY – Gijs Brouwer triumphs in Egypt

The M15 Sharm El Sheikh event, held at Soho Sq., concluded with the title win of Gijs Brouwer.

The Dutch lefty knocked off the event’s prime favorite Pablo Vivero Gonzalez, who captured the trophy in Sharm El Sheikh final week, within the semi-finals in straight units.

No. 3 seeded Vladyslav Orlov from the Ukraine superior to the ultimate with a three-set win towards Shintaro Mochizuki, who entered the event by his junior rating. Seventeen-year-old Mochizuko clinched the trophy of the Wimbledon Junior Championships 2019 and was ranked No. 1 in ITF Juniors.

Twenty-four-year-old Brouwer gained 82 per cent of his first-service factors within the championship match to prevail 6-3, 7-6 in 92 minutes. The Houston, Texas native celebrated his fourth profession title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
