Seventh seed Aayush P Bhat of USA upset prime seed Chirag Duhan 7-6(3), 7-6(6) whereas Lanlana Tararudee of Thailand outplayed prime seed Shruti Ahlawat 6-2, 6-1 within the boys’ U-18 and women’ U-18 quarter-final matches, respectively, to e book their spots within the semi-finals through the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (Grade-2) on the Chandigarh Garden Tennis Affiliation Stadium in Sector 10 on Thursday.Aayush P Bhat maintained his momentum all through the match to beat Duhan in a troublesome match. He’ll play Bhushan Haobam within the semi-final on Friday. In one other quarter-final tie, Haobam knocked out Woohyuk Chang of Korea 6-4, 6-4.
