Charles J. (Charlie) Evans, 78, died October 30, 2019 in St. Petersburg, FL after a temporary sickness. He used to be born on March 8, 1941 in Huntington, WV.

He used to be predeceased through his folks, Flem J. and Charlene E. Evans.

He’s survived through a son, Charles Jennings (C.J.) Evans, Jr.; grandson, Chase; and granddaughter, Kate.

He graduated from Huntington Top College, then served within the U.S. Army. He graduated from Marshall College in 1966. At Marshall, he used to be a member and president of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, president of the Inter-fraternity Council, and the primary Marshall College mascot, ‘Marco.’ He moved to Ocala, FL operating as gross sales supervisor for WWKE radio station.

All the way through 41 years in Ocala, he owned Evans Promoting, Ocala Billiard Heart, E-Z Automobile Wash, Nezers, and used to be a spouse in Ocala Amusement and Evans-Shelton. He used to be lively in his group as a member of Ocala Jaycees, Silver Springs Rotary Membership, Ocala Quarterback Membership, and Ocala Elks Membership. He cherished to look at the Gators and The Thundering Herd. He cherished fishing and used to be a devoted handball participant for a few years. His favourite factor about dwelling on Lake Weir used to be looking at sunsets.

A birthday celebration of existence will likely be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Eaton’s Seaside on Lake Weir.
