Sam Bennett finished back-to-back degree wins on the BinckBank Excursion after edging a bunched dash on degree two. The Irish champion, who snatched victory in Hulst at the opening day, adopted it up with some other good effort in a bunched dash end.
The Bora-Hansgrohe rider gained the 169.1km-stage from Blankenberge to Ardooie forward of second-placed Belgian Jasper Philipsen (UAE Crew Emirates) and Holland’s Dylan Groenewegen (Crew Jumbo-Visma), who used to be 3rd.
